Göktaşlar Meat-Meat Products Sub-Industry and Trade Limited Company was established in 1998 by Şerif GÖKTAŞ on 84 decares of land. While operating only in the meat sector until 2006, it started its fattening business activities by establishing a fattening business with a capacity of 73,000 animals, established on 500 decares, as of the end of 2008.
By 2010, it started to operate in international trade by trading red meat and livestock with many countries.
Countries from which red meat is imported: Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Hungary and France.
Live animals are imported from Brazil, Uruguay, Australia, France, Spain, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Czech Republic, Ireland and Romania.
In case of conditions in the international market, exports are carried out periodically to Iraq and Lebanon countries within the body of Göktaşlar Livestock Enterprise.
