Göktaşlar Meat-Meat Products Sub-Industry and Trade Limited Company was established in 1998 by Şerif GÖKTAŞ on 84 decares of land. While operating only in the meat sector until 2006, it started its fattening business activities by establishing a fattening business with a capacity of 73,000 animals, established on 500 decares, as of the end of 2008. After the fattening business was established, the integrated meat plant was not sufficient, and in 2015, Göktaşlar meat had a new slaughterhouse built. The slaughterhouse, which is located in the Gaziantep breeding region, has a modern system built on an open area of 55.000 m² and operated in a closed area of 22.000 m². The facility has a slaughtering capacity of 90 cattle and 500 sheep per hour. The animals, which are examined by the veterinarians within the company and the veterinarians of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, are taken to the padogs. After the earring numbers and documents are checked, the animals resting in the padogs are sent to slaughter.

Bovine and ovine animals slaughtered according to Islamic rules are processed hygienically in our modern and high-tech slaughter line without touching the surface. Carcass meats that have been slaughtered are checked by our veterinarians and put to rest in our hygienic cold air warehouses. Carcass meats, whose appropriate seals and labels are completed, are shipped to our company's refrigerated vehicles without breaking the cold chain. We have many local and international halal and quality certificates.
